Hi,

At the overlook in AB Williams Woods, in North Chagrin Reservation, we
found a melanistic Tufted Titmouse. An interesting little bird the color
of a female Dark-eyed Junco with a dark face. Put a tuft on a female junco
and you get a good idea of what this guy looked like. He was shy staying
in the hemlocks and only coming out occasionally when his flock was at this
location.

This is a great spot for forest birds in winter, but probably too much of a
hike for the general birding community , especially given that the birds
are those which commonly come to feeders.
