Charlemont Reservation, Lorain County
New London Eastern Road
This evening while birding the wetland at Charlemont I had my first of the year woodcocks. The peenting started at 6:50 and I seen at least a dozen courtship display flights before I left. I've observed a few woodcock display flights, something I found interesting and hadn't seen before, two birds going up simultaneously staying together until they descended. I saw this twice, probably happens all the time, anyone else observed this.
