I spent several hours today searching for birds around my local patch in the Lowellville (Mahoning Co.) area.  I found 3 FOY species - tree swallow, e. towhees, and field sparrow.  Also found were lesser scaup, wild turkeys, red-shouldered hawk, Am. kestrel, 4 e. phoebes, 3 Carolina wrens, 8 e. bluebirds, 3 n. mockingbirds, 30 song sparrows (almost all singing birds), and e. meadowlark.    Craig Holt, Lowellville
