The 2 Surf Scoters were close to the end of Harveysburg Road at Caesar
Creek in the company of a female Common Goldeneye and several American
Coots early this afternoon. Several rafts of mixed ducks, Horned Grebes,
and 2 Common Loons far off the point moved around to avoid fishing boats.
No activity at the Osprey nest at the Mound Road mudflat. An adult Bald
Eagle flew out of the cove as I approached, and the only waterfowl were
Canada Geese.
