I stopped back at Lorain around 4:00 to see if the California gull had come
in any closer or to see if anything else was around. I was only there
around 20 minutes and saw only a lesser black-backed gull. There were
probably more gulls in the river and harbor than before, but the percentage
of ring-billed gulls were higher. There were a lot of big gulls south of
the bridge and I didn't have time to check east of the sewage plant so my
check was far from complete.
