Went for a walk around 11AM. I have never explored this Preserve. I couldn't believe the wildflowers in bloom as well as a good variety of birds. Highlights were:
Hermit Thrush-1
Tree Creeper-3
Golden-crowned Kinglets-8
E. Phoebe-2
Pileated Woodpecker-1
Blue Heron-1(in the river)

On our homefront in Chardon, we had our first pair of purple finches; also a flock of 7 cowbirds ( mostly males).
