I checked out the north side of the Lower Shaker Lake on my way home
this afternoon and spotted a *Palm Warbler*. This would be a couple of
days earlier than the earliest sighting for Cleveland Region of March
29, 2003, listed in Larry Rosche's /Birds of the Cleveland Region/. I
defer to others with more expertise at records searching as to whether
this is indeed the earliest date for the area.

I managed to get a bad photo, which is online at

Aside from that excitement, there were lots of Golden-crowned Kinglets,
and a couple of Brown Creeper. Ebird list follows.
