Visited Bass Lake Preserve on Tuesday and saw six tundra swans among the
geese on the "island", as well as out on the water. A bald eagle perched
nearby.

Yesterday I saw the first returning Turkey Vulture of the dozen or so that
roost in Rocky Cellars (a small gorge off Downing Drive in Chardon). I
hope they will not be displaced by the "safety complex"(snow plow center)
that Chardon is constructing there.
