It took a lot of patience and about 4 hours, but we did get great looks at the Eurasian wigeon, not far from where Rick Asomoto first reported it.  It had been flushed up by some kayakers, and reportedly moved around, so we did, too.  Thanks to Jay Lehman, who knows his way around Cowan Lake better than I do.

Also saw the breeding-plumaged common loon and 38 other species, including nearly all the expected ducks, but not any geese other than Canadas.
