Highlights this morning at Nimisila Reservoir: six common goldeneyes, ~130 ruddy ducks, ~300 American coots. No obvious temperate migrants except a TREE SWALLOW which ties my early record. More importantly, a brown creeper was singing around the campground. I have never heard one sing away from areas where they are known or suspected to nest.
