Today Jim, Patty, Paula, Bob, and I had a Eurasian Wigeon at Wright Marsh
which is part of the Killbuck Marsh Complex. At Funk there were a few
Rusty Blackbirds. In the area, the migration of raptors was quite epic.
Numerous Turkey Vultures and Red-tailed Hawks as well as a Sharpie and
Rough-legged seen kettling. Saw a total of six Sandhill Cranes as well as
18 waterfowl species between these two locations. Great place to find
something unusual this time of the year.
