Yesterday in the wind at Lakeview I ducked into the 'nature walk' area and found
some early migrants including blue-gray gnatcatcher, rc kinglet, yellow rumped
warbler, hermit thrush and lastly, I think, an orchard oriole (last photo on the
page)...may be wrong about this id, please let me know if so. Also saw a rt
hawk enjoying the wind and several wood ducks, male and female. The kingfisher
that had been on the pond all last week was not around.
