The Glossy Ibis seen first on Sunday at the Thomas Wetlands two miles east of Antwerp, Ohio was still present at 11:30 a.m. this morning. Micki and I watched the bird foraging in the pond at the intersection of County Road 176 and Township Road 61. We parked along Road 61 and walked up on the dike to get a good look at the bird, who was perhaps 500 or 600 feet west of us.
Bird long and prosper,
Doug & Micki Dunakin
Antwerp, O.
