Today on a ramble along Valley Parkway from the Lorain Road Bridge, Cleveland, to the Hilliard Road Bridge, Lakewood, my husband Page and I had a nice look at one of the Peregrine Falcons on the Hilliard Road Bridge. There was some calling, then one bird was visible on the south side, arch closest to the river. The bird looked over the side, the flew.
The field by the Lorain Road Bridge there were lots of Red-winged Blackbirds. One bird went from one parked car to the next challenging the birds in the side-view mirrors.
Blue-gray gnatcatchers were calling everywhere.
Happy birding!
