Three of us tried again for the Black-necked Stilt at Kiser Lake this
afternoon. We didn't find it although I can't say that they aren't still
there. There were lots of geese, about 10 Pied-billed Grebes, 1 Horned
Grebe, a pair of Blue-winged Teal, and a pair of Mute Swans. We also heard a
Yellow-throated Warbler and saw a Blue-gray Gnatcatcher.
