Visited bnp at 7p today 4/13.  Didn't see any meadowlarks but saw a brown thrasher.  Also got a good view of the Am. kestrel perching and being chased by redwings.  It's Fri the 13th; maybe the kestrel ate a meadowlark or two. (Just kidding.)
