Greetings -

Multiple radar images from several birding sites tracking migration are showing large and vast movements of birds tonight (1 am Sunday morning) across the Great Lakes Region and south. SSW winds seem to be dominant, and rain is holding off relatively well. The northern half of the state could see some decent turnover, finally. If showers reappear in the morning, birding could be hot locally at lakefront patches (Magee, Headlands, Wendy, Huntington, etc.). If winds hold steady and the sun breaks through tomorrow, an excellent movement of raptors could occur at several lakefront sites.
