Crane Creek SP:

American White Pelican  5  flyovers
American Golden-Plover  30  same
Yellow-throated Warbler  1  across from boardwalk's east entrance
Hooded Warbler  1  west end of parking lot

As the weather broke & Broad-wingeds started to move, I headed to the "big hill" at Maumee Bay SP.  Here, however, there was almost no hawk movement at all, probably due to the blustery winds near the lake.  I did see the seven avocets on the beach before leaving around noon.  On the way home, I passed 30 or so Broad-wingeds and several accipiters in passage, but obviously missed today's major movement.

Yesterday, there were 30 Dunlin, Lesser Yellowlegs, Semipalmated Sandpiper, and two Common Terns at the Lorain Impoundment.

Good birding -
Gabe Leidy
Sheffield Lake
