Stopped at some of the flooded fields south of Bellevue today. Lots
of good birds.

Sandusky County Road 292 (I think this is also called Riddle Road) -
north side of railroad tracks had many waterfowl (10+ species) and a
few shorebirds; didn't check the south side of railroad tracks, the
road is flooded. This is in York Township, sections 33 and 34.

Seneca County - The pond east of Twp. Road 80 south of County Road 62
had many waterfowl (12+ species) and more shorebirds but same species.
This is in Thompson Township, section 4.

The flooded field along County Road 34 west of Twp. Road 80 had
close to 1000 shorebirds but fewer waterfowl. Vesper and Savannah
Sparrows along with numerous American Pipits were also present. This
site has flooded fields on both sides of the road which made viewing
shorebirds very easy. The majority of species (in order of abundance)
were Pectoral Sandpipers, Dunlin, Lesser Yellowlegs, Greater
Yellowlegs, Solitary Sandpiper, and Killdeer. This is in Thompson
Township, sections 5 and 8.

There are more flooded fields in the area which I am sure are worth checking.
