Blendon Woods is located in the northeast corner of Columbus off of Rte 161
& I 270. Take the Little Turtle Way exit. Below is a list of some of the
birds found at Blendon Woods the last 2 mornings. The Lake Trail was the
most active There was a flock of Yellow-rumped Warblers(with
Black-and-white, Palm, Black-throated Green Warblers) that were moving
around & found many a time.

          Brown Thrasher-2-both perched in the tree top singing
          E Kingbird
          E Bluebird-2 males, female
          Wood Thrush
          Double-crested Cormorants-2(fly over)
          Carolina Wren
          E Towhee-3
          Broad-winged Hawk
          Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
          N Flicker
          White-throated Sparrow
          Cooper's Hawk
          Turkey-gobbling
          Mallard-pair(fly over)
          N Cardinal-female-carrying nest material
          N Mockingbird
          Field Sparrow-singing a song similar to a Swamp Sparrow
