As of 1:00 the Piping Plover was still on the lakeside beach at Mentor
Headlands. It was first seen running along the beach close to where the
lighthouse breakwall meets the beach (west side). It was last seen hunkered
down about 100 feet from the breakwall. Thanks, Cole, for the timely post.
