Did anyone see colored leg bands on this bird?  Virtually all of the Great Lakes population is banded.  It would be great to know what colors it had so we can try to identify the individual.  Let me know if any of you who saw it got some or all of the colors.

Subject: [Ohio-birds] Piping Plover - Yes!



As of 1:00 the Piping Plover was still on the lakeside beach at Mentor Headlands. It was first seen running along the beach close to where the lighthouse breakwall meets the beach (west side). It was last seen hunkered down about 100 feet from the breakwall. Thanks, Cole, for the timely post.
