one of my better days at picking up somenew birds (some FOYs and some lifers!)   5:00 - 6:00 Lorain Impoundment 49* chilly windfrom northeast   i walked around the wet area on the "road"  Barn Swallow - 10+   Song Sparrow - 6+   Canada Goose - 20+   Killdeer - 15+Mourning Dove - 2   Mallard  10+   ACoot - 18+   BWTeal - 10+   RWBbird - 25+   Bufflehead - 5   Bonaparte's Gull - 40+   Caspian Tern - 20+   NRWSwallow - 4+   RBMerg - 8+   Mute Swan - 2   RBGull  20+   HGull - 3   DCCorm - 2   BKingfisher - 1   Dunlin - 9   GYellowlegs - 1   Spotted Sandpiper - 1    on the marina side i saw the following   Ruddy Duck  4GBHeron - 3   HGull - 30+   RBGull - 15+   LScaup - 7   ACoot - 4   BGull - 10+ 6;25 - 8:30 Sandy Ridge   48* chilly   RWBbird - 35+   ARobin - 20+   BJay - 6+   TTitmouse - 10+   RBWoodpecker - 4+   Veery - 1   Wood Duck - 6+   BCChickadee - 10+   ACoot - 25+   RNDuck - 6   CaGoose - 35+   Mallard - 12+   BWTeal - 18+   ShShinned Hawk - 1   GBHeron - 8+   Osprey - 1 (was in tree near middle nearly entire time there)   GrEgret - 5   RBMerg - 7   Mute Swan - 1   TrSwallow - 30+   BEagle - 1   WSnipe - 9   SHCrane - 1 (nearly tame!) AWESOME!!!     THIS PLACE IS BEYOND AWESOME!!!     buster
