This is a follow-up question to Haans discussion. It comes up every year... Do the throngs of photographers with their flashes disturb the birds at Magee? We are always reassured that the birds are so busy eating that they don't care. Have any actual studies been done on this? I would hate to discourage this opportunity for avian photographers if there is no real effect, but if there is, perhaps a permit system... so many per day? Don't hate me- I just always wonder.
