I received a call today from a resident from Bay Village, Ohio. He was extremely concerned about an ordinance about to be passed by the Bay Village City Council that would effectively ban bird feeding. It's aimed at people feeding deer in residential areas, but the language of the ordinance is such that it would ban bird feeding as well. The ordinance was dated March 28, 2012. The meeting minutes are archived on the Bay Village City Council website. I told him I would pass the word along to some people who might be willing to help.
