I was able to get to Villa Angela on the east side of Cleveland from 5:10pm til 6:50pm. Unfortunately, it started to rain after 6pm and never stopped for more than a few minutes so conditions deteriorated as it got very dark with the rain that came through. Here are a few birds I saw or heard and seven were new for me this year:
Green Heron 1 (wildwood)
Eastern Wood-Pewee 1 (heard)
Veery 1
Wood Thrush 1 or 2 (heard)
Gray Catbirds 4
Hermit Thrush 25+
Black-and-White Warbler 1
Savannah Sparrow 1
White-throated Sparrows 35+
White-crowned Sparrows 18 (3 in WW)
Lincoln Sparrow 1
Swamp Sparrow 1
Baltimore Oriole 1 (heard)
It figures the winds turn southwest at the start of my work week.
