It's looks as if our resident whip-poor-will is back for the second year in
a row. In our nearly 18 years of living here, outside of last year, we've
only heard one of these haunting birds two other times - never throughout
the spring/summer. My husband grew up across the road from where we live
and remembers hearing them on a regular basis as a child/teen. It's nice to
know they're making a comeback in our little corner of the county.
