I can attest to the presence of a Snowy Owl in Clinton county from 26 Nov
00 to 08 Feb 01. In that time, the owl was very faithful to a single power
pole on Accommodation Road. I observed this owl dozens of times and never
saw it more than 200 yards from that pole. The last time I saw it on 8 Feb
it seemed to be alert and in excellent health. Thus it would seem that
fidelity to a particular site should not be construed as evidence of
impending death.

Cheers.

Bob
