The exceptionally confiding American Bittern found by Natalie Moore in Rocky River Reservation earlier this week continues to build a fan base, as dozens upon dozens if not hundreds of birders (including those that made the trek from MI and PA) have been thrilled with close studies of this completely intriguing bird. As of the evening of Thursday, April 5th, it was still present in its favored patch of marsh.

Thanks to Dane Adams, one our most talented bird photographers in Ohio, another great bittern shot (that he took yesterday) is here for all to enjoy: www.northnw.wordpress.com

We are exceedingly lucky here in NE Ohio to have two stunningly talented bird photographers – Dane Adams and Chuck Slusarczyk Jr.
