We arrived at the last known location this morning and were rewarded with
a view of the owl from about 500+ yards. We returned later in the day and
the owl had moved from west of Twp Rd 234 to between 234 and the
reservoir. The land owner had graciously allowed us to view from the
fence by his barn (on the road to the reservoir boat ramp) and got a view
from about 100 yards. Much better viewing. The bird was still there when
we left at 5:30. It appears that there may be an injury to the owls right
eye. Hopefully the owl is feeding and can make a successful return north.
