Ha, I bought one just like that two months ago to discourage unwanted birds from devouring my suet cakes.  Well, my resident Downy and Red-bellied woodpeckers couldn't figure it out, but the House sparrows and Starlings caught on right away.  Very smart, those European birds.  Whatever happened to American ingenuity?
