Greetings -

Wendy Park was loaded today. In the tiny stand of cottonwoods and underbrush this late afternoon, sixteen (16) species of warblers were seen point blank, at eye level and on the ground, due to a mega midge hatch. Blackburnian, Northern Parula, several Black-throated Blue and Black-throated Green, Chestnut-sided, Magnolia, redstarts, Ovenbird, Northern Waterthrush and more, plus Scarlet Tanager, Indigo Bunting, Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Red-eyed Vireo, Lincoln's Sparrow.
