I did some birding on foot and on a bicycle yesterday near my home in Poland Twp., NE Mahoning Co.  There was a nice variety of bird species found: red-headed woodpecker, pileated woodpecker, great crested flycatcher, red-eyed vireo, house wren, wood thrush, gray catbird, n. mockingbird, cedar waxwing, c. yellowthroat, e. towhee, rose-breasted grosbeak, scarlet tanager, Baltimore oriole, and purple finch.  Craig H.
