I've enjoyed the presence of at least one (1) Northern Mockingbird at my
office in Elyria (Lorain County) for the last two weeks. I saw it for the
first time on Monday, April 30th. It's been harassing the Robins and
Starlings and I've seen it at least 6-7 times over the last 14 days,
including today. I know Mockingbirds are more common for our birding
friends in Southern Ohio, but it's certainly not a "regular" bird for Lorain
County. Are Mockingbirds nesting in Northern Ohio becoming more common?
I'm hoping that I haven't seen the same bird each time and that there are
more than one and they are nesting nearby. Out of curiosity, what type of
nesting habitat should I look for if I wanted to look for a nest? Thanks in
advance!

Spencer
