If you have not gotten a chance to see a tornado of swifts cycling into their chimney at night, may we suggest the chimney on E. Main Street in Kent- just down the street from Kent Stage. We watched from Acorn Alley across the street with our ice cream cones as hundreds, perhaps even a thousand swifts, gathered and circled until finally every last one dove or dropped into the chimney as the last rays of the sun disappeared.
