No Least Tern from 11:00 am to about 12:30, but 17 Ruddy Turnstones on the
west-most narrow shell covered beach weat of the most western rock jetty
along the beach at Maumee Bay SP.  No Least Tern between 4:30 to 5:15 pm.
Alder Flycatcher calling near sign by entry on west side of road.  Both
Glossy & White-faced Ibis visible from a distance from the auto tour west
of parking lot at old visitor center.  Better visibility from observation
tower located on first path left north of old parking lot.  Still present
when I left the observation platform at about 3:30 pm.  Arrived at the
boardwalk at 6:00 pm.  Great view of Yellow-bellied Flycatcher at west
entrance.  Black-billed Cuckoo calling at small loop.  Wilson's, Canada,
Magnolia Warblers & Am. Redstart still active late.  Common Nighthawk &
Common Tern late fly-overs.  Two Am. Bitterns doing pump song at gate on
Veler Road at 9:15 pm.
