Hi,

It certainly seems to be a banner year for Great Crested Flycatchers here
in the forests on the front of Allegheny plateau.  They are everywhere in
dense concentrations, and already building nests.

On the other hand Indigo Buntings are surprisingly absent.  Most variation
of this sort is normal and due to random causes.  While an absence of
Indigo Bunnies is noteworthy, it is nothing to be concerned about if it is
localized.
