Shane Roberts and I did the monthly count today for Magee Marsh.
Thanks also to a few birders who reported their sightings to us .
Maybe the winds coming the next few days will bring in a few more
birds..............like maybe a CT or two?

Here is what was seen or heard today:

Great Blue Heron, Great Egret, Green Heron, Black crowned Night Heron,
Canada Goose, Mallard, Wood Duck, Bald Eagle, Sandhill Crane,  Semi-pal
mated Plover, Killdeer, Ruddy Turnstones, Am. Woodcock, Dunlin, Least
Sandpiper, Herring Gull,  Ring-billed Gull, Common Tern, Mourning Dove,
Black-billed Cuckoo, E. Screech Owl, Great Horned Owl, Ruby-throated
Hummingbird, N Flicker, Red-bellied Woodpecker,  Downy Woodpecker,
Eastern Kingbird, Great Crested Flycatcher, Willow Flycatcher, Tree
Swallow, N Rough Winged Swallow, Barn Swallow, Purple Martin, Blue Jay,
BC Chickadee, WB Nuthatch, House Wren, March Wren, Gray Catbirds, Am
Robin, Hermit Thrush, BG  Gnatcatcher, Cedar Waxwing, E Starling,
White-eye vireo,  Red-eyed vireo, Philadelphia vireo, Warbling Vireo,
Prothonotary Warbler, N. Parula, Yellow Warbler, Magnolia Warbler, BT
Green, Blackburnian, Bay-Breasted, Blackpoll, Common Yellowthroat, YB
Chat, Wilson's Warbler, Am Redstart, Red-winged Blackbirds, Baltimore
Oriole , Common Grackle, N Cardinal, Indigo Bunting, Chipping Sparrow,
Lincoln's sparrow, Swamp Sparrow, House Finch, Am Goldfinch and House
Sparrow.
