I saw Black-bellied Plovers in the mud to the right on the entrance road to Metzger beside the canal and at the first and second pulloffs once you turn the corner to head east.  The Common Moorhens (3) were at the last pulloff before the parking area.  The Wilson's Phalarope was at the second pulloff, where there is what looks like a big piece of metal equipment in the water.  There is a spit of mud (closest one) with a Canada Goose nest right near the tip.  The Wilson's Phalarope was right beside the nest.
