Hi All,
Our breeding bird surveys have begun on the Wayne and I got a report from the Ironton District; WNF employee/bird surveyor Zac Allen that he had an adult Common Loon on Timber Ridge Lake this morning at the dam.
Timber Ridge Lake is in Lawrence Co (very near the Gallia Co. line) along Scottown - Lecta Road (just south of the town of Lecta). The 7th edition DeLorme would have it on Page 86 C2. Very strange in that several small ponds show up as blue but this 100-acre lake constructed in the 70's shows as a red squiggly line. Maybe the newer Gazeteer shows water.
