Greetings -

Bruce Glick just called to relay two outstanding sightings from the Killbuck Marsh area. Awesome mudflats and wetlands exist at Wright Marsh, where yesterday multiple birders found and photographed a female RUFF (Reeve). Today it could not be relocated but two Kidron birders found nine (9) Marbled Godwits this afternoon. The godwits put down on the flats, took to the air, returned to the flats, and repeated this twice again before picking up and winding high skyward and due north. Bruce notes that there are loads of shorebirds present including Dunlin. He encourages others to check out Wright Marsh frequently since the habitat is extremely good.
