Greetings -

Bruce Glick called this evening to report that the Funk Bottoms shorebird habitat off of Route 95 is still producing excellent diversity. Robert Hershberger had 11 species of shorebirds there yesterday including two well-seen Baird's Sandpipers (an excellent spring record) at least 60 Semipalmated Plovers and 40+ Semipalmated Sandpipers, snipe, yellowlegs, etc. Today, Bruce had three AMERICAN WHITE PELICANS at Funk, two taking to the sky and heading due north but one individual staying to linger.
