Hi everyone,

Normally, this would not necessarily merit a posting, but last Fall the
absence of White-throated and White-crowned Sparrows at our feeders here in
Cleveland heights was very noticeable. Throughout the Winter, when
White-throated Sparrows are usually regular visitors, we noticed none. The
same was true in Forest Hill Park and the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes.
Some (but not all) of our local birding friends had similar observations.

But this Spring we¹ve seen them, And last night the White-throats are
singing lie mad, and this morning we had a White-crowned under the feeders.
Great relief!

Best wishes,

Steve Cagan
Cleveland heights, Cuyahoga County
