Hi: I birded trails and riverbank in the Rocky River Metropark in the west
Cleveland area near the Cottonwood Picnic area this morning. In two hours
of birding, I saw 41 species. I had ten species of warblers, including
blackburnian and N. parula. Lots of Baltimore orioles heard and seen and
one scarlet tanager. In areas of the river with exposed boulders, there
were quite a few solitary sandpipers along with the expected spotted
sandpipers. Lots of migrants moving through! Randy Rowe
