Here is an upcoming event that some of you may be interested in led by our
own Allen Chartier.



Saturday June 16th

The Amazing World of Hummingbirds;  banding program, lunch and lecture- Join
Allen Chartier, Project Director for the Great Lakes HummerNet. We'll begin
at 9 a.m. by capturing and banding hummingbirds outside the nature center.
Lunch indoors at 11:30 of cold meats, cheeses, fresh fruit and lemonade.
After lunch Allen will share with us helpful hints on how to attract , feed
and garden for hummingbirds.  $20 includes lunch. Adults only! Please
register by Thursday June 14 by calling 740 967-8320 or emailing

Event will take place at the William C. Kraner Nature Center located at
10380 Fairview Rd, Newark, Ohio 43056 just 6 miles east of Newark in Licking
County.
