This morning I spent a couple hours watching a pair of Sedge Wrens along
the Battelle-Darby Greenway Trail. On Sunday and Tuesday we'd only seen
Sedge Wrens west of Darby Creek Drive, near the horse barn (Sunday) or
the track (Tuesday), but today's pair were much closer to the Kuhlwein
Rd. parking area, just north of where the trail turns north again after
curving east away from Darby Creek Dr. They were constantly vocal and
busy chasing from willow to cattail to weeds and back, taking little
notice of me. What a treat!
