arrived @ Conneaut this morning to
see an almost full monn at the same time
as sunrise. (actually @ 5:05)
 
driving from boat launch to beach i hear
Least Flycatchers
Common Yellowthroat
A Robins
Catbirds
N Cardinals
Song Sparrows
RWBbirds
and i see my first GBHeron
 
on the beach my first sights include many
hundred gulls and 2 Bald Eagle on a sand bar
 
here is the list from my 3 hours at the
sandspit today (note - the storms were pretty
strong, branches along Lakeside Dr) - 
Bald Eagle - 8 (at least, i saw 8 at one time together!)
Canada Goose - 200+
Mallard - 30+
RBGull - 300ish
HGull - 15+
Forster's Tern - 2 (or 3)
Caspian Tern - 1
GBHeron - 5+
DCCormorant - 1
Barn Swallow - 50+
Tree Swallow - 100+
Chimney Swift - 20+
NRWSwallow - 30+
ACrow - 6+
Killdeer - 20+
BKingfisher - 2
Sanderling - 3
Lesser Yellowlegs - 1
Least Sandpiper - 7+
Cedar Waxwing - 3
Spotted Sandpiper - 1 (or 2)
 
as i headed home i got to the top
of the hill and was treated with a
Red-headed Woodpecker!!
