On sunny days the bullldozed Conneaut shorebird habitat is now a popular swimming/sunbathing and parking area. All shorebirds are chased out by noon.

Comments: Sandspit and 1 mi. up Conneaut Creek by kayak. Exact count of 18 willets resting on sandbar 30 ft. offshore until woman walked through flock with dog.
