It is presently 1:50PM Sunday afternoon, we are sitting on the SR224 Causeway, just west of the bridge over Berlin Lake, straddling the Mahoning/Portage County line. The American Golden-Plovers found yesterday by Ben Morrison and Kent Miller are still here. There are at least 17 today, some still in breeding plumage. To view the plovers, park at the above location, and look south to the long sand peninsula. They are scattered along the shore. A scope is necessary.
