On Monday morning, I was able to do a couple of hours of birding in Cleveland during one of my quick visits to Ohio and before the heaviest of the all-day rain began. I observed a few migrant passerines, including:

Wendy Park - Least Flycatcher and Magnolia Warbler

Cleveland Lakefront Nature Preserve - Mourning Warbler (2), Canada Warbler (2), Blue-winged Warbler, Chestnut-sided Warbler, Northern Waterthrush, and Pine Warblers (3 female/first fall birds, all in the same pine tree between the parking lot and gate). Birding seemed particularly good just beyond the gate, with all warblers spotted quickly within 5 minutes; however, heavier rain and wet glasses/bins kept me from investigating much further.
